The Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan, is a rapturous celebration of fruit. Sensuous and sweet, the cherry is a delectable edible, also depicted in paintings, and other art forms around the world. The Japanese fascination and focus on the cherry, "stems back" to grafted varieties. Our vision of nature as fixed and natural, does not translate into the morphing construct of creating art, and living in moment, a continuous evolution.
