Join AIP as one of our teachers.
In 2020, the team at AIP has used the time of stillness and reflection to gain a deeper understanding of our mission and to determine how we can be of greater service to our community of artists. This period has taught us to be open, resilient, and most importantly- to rise to the occasion.
AIP believes we can make, learn, and grow together for an interconnected and collaborative world- even when we can’t actually be together.
AIP is more committed than ever to providing cultural, creative art, and design learning experiences that not only feed the hunger for knowledge, but also nourish the spirit. 2021 marks our first offerings of live remote courses that are truly innovative and uniquely experiential in the landscape of digital learning.
You are invited to apply to instruct a live remote course in your discipline. Please provide an overview of your proposal. If we think this would be a good fit for our 6 week sessions, we will send you the paperwork with logistic details and formalizing for web content and promotional information.
Are you an artist, designer, writer, composer etc. interested in leading a trip or teaching students while traveling to important and inspiring sites around the world? Share your skills with our global community!
Apply to teach an AIP course or lead a trip in one of our exciting locations.
We believe in immersive learning around the world. We support faculty teaching courses they are passionate about teaching. In the way the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College was more of a collaboration and experiment, questioning ideas, being lead by curiosity, we have the freedom and flexibility as a non-institution to offer and host classes which may not fit into institutional curriculums.
We look forward to hearing your ideas about a course you would like to teach that works well in an international environment.
We accept proposals/ collaborations on an as-needed basis.
Please note: Rolling submissions are less guaranteed, but still welcome.
