STUDIO LIFE AND HISTORY
Virtual Reality has been around for more than 20 years, but was inaccessible and expensive for general purposes. The rapid development of technology, and the affordability of new devices continues to make virtual reality more feasible. Content can be experienced with several devices, such a computer-tethered head-mounted display (HTC Vive or Oculus Rift) with full motion tracking, or a google cardboard running a modern mobile device. The design of VR experiences for artists has become more accessible than before and it is much easier to develop VR environments than it was ever before. The growth for art based VR shows and exhibits continues moving rapidly, and the possibilities for creativity are visually unlimited.
